I feel like Argentina’s economic crisis is a cautionary tale for the United States. It’s important that we keep our status as the global reserve currency, keep our private sector strong, and cut our deficit spending before we need a figure like Milei to repair the damage.

I agree. My concern is, neither political party is actively addressing the core issues that are leading us down this path. I probably sound like a broken record on this point, but I remain deeply concerned about our deficit and debt. It's much easier to "lose weight" (reduce debt) over time than go on an extreme diet of austerity measures later, but doing so requires taking steps now (really years ago) to see the needed change.
